Grandstream Networks released an IP Audio Door System for beta testing by the Grandstream Beta Club. Grandstream will be accepting applications for the beta test of this upcoming product from January 31st to February 15th.

For this new beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is looking for enthusiastic beta testers with extensive hands-on experience deploying and managing IP audio door systems and similar facility access control products. A very limited number of test units are available and the top applicants who demonstrate outstanding knowledge and unique perspectives in access control products will be selected.

Grandstream will be releasing a new device to expand its line of facility access control and audio/video intercom solutions. The first product in this line was the GDS3710 IP Video Door System, which proved to be a successful and highly sought-after product after its release in March of 2017. The upcoming new IP audio door phone will further enhance the Grandstream product family, with interoperability between Grandstream’s IP PBXs, IP phones and IP video phones, to provide a fully-integrated facility access control and audio/video intercom solution.

This new beta test features a comprehensive IP audio door system that fits a wide range of deployments and business types. This door system features an IP66 weatherproof and IK10 vandal resistant design, allowing it to be installed both indoors and outdoors while maintaining a high level of security. The device also includes HD audio with up to 1.5-meter voice pickup distance, 3-meter speaker coverage range, as well as advanced AEC (acoustic echo cancellation) and background noise suppression to ensure high quality audio in noisy environments. This facility access system also includes an RFID touchpad and full numeric keypad for a variety of secure-access methods. Additional features include integrated PoE, alarm-in, alarm-out, RS485 and Weigand Input/Output. This product supports Grandstream’s entire line of IP phones, video phones, and soft phones to ensure seamless 2-way HD voice communication and secure door control. It also offers centralized device management through Grandstream’s free facility access software, GDS Manager.

30 units of the IP Audio Door System will be available to selected Beta Club members by February 15, 2018. Interested testers must submit an application via betaclub.grandstream.com to be considered for the beta test.

Each product beta test released through the Grandstream Beta Club will have a limited number of beta test units available. Application to the Grandstream Beta Club is open to anyone and is FREE. Selection of participants will be determined by Grandstream based on applicant qualification. The cost to participate in a beta test will be $1 to cover handling, however the product model and shipping will be free of charge for each active beta tester. There is no charge to applicants who are not selected for a Beta test.
